After the release of a cassette on Vocoder Tapes and of an EP on FFK in 2013, Peine Perdue released in 2014 their first LP on Cold Beats records as a 14 tracks CD. This is the first reissue on Vinyl of a selection of 8 tracks from that debut album, remastered by DeA Hydra, with special artwork on the Standard edition (200 copies with silkscreen and graphic cut-outs) and the creation of 12 unique Collector's discs in the form of sculptural art sleeves, in MDF, Plexiglas, Latex. The silk-screen printing is derived from the original collage by Anna Dubosc and Stéphane Argillet Stereovoid (from their graphic fanzine project "Ce Soir").
All tracks are by Coco Gallo (lyrics, vocals) and Stéphane Argillet Stereovoid (synth and programming).
The collectors editions were designed by Stereovoid like facades of memorial chapels, their geometry both minimal and lyrical, evoking the stylized and sharp musical universe of the duo that marked the revival of French synthwave in the early 2010s before their split in 2020.
